2009 Coronation Stage

This is my first year as the Alumni Coordinator at PLNU. In this position I get the pleasure of working on some pretty sweet events with some pretty awesome people! The pictures below are of the Coronation/Variety Show stage during Homecoming. This event was so awesome!

The staging was designed by my friend Leslie - brilliant girl. It was [obviously] an Old Hollywood theme!
We had a costumer come out and dress the Homecoming Court in fun 30's and 40's fashion!

This event was a ton of work - - but in the end, SO worth it!

HUGE thank you to the AMAZING Coronation Committee and all of the fabulous volunteers that came out to help! Couldn't have done it without you!

Christmas time is here...(channeling Charlie Brown)

This is definitely one of my most favorite seasons of all. Even though most will agree that Jesus wasn't born on December 25, I think it's so amazing to see the spirit of giving and love, a spirit that can only originate from Jesus Christ, that glows all around during this time of year.

We finally finished decorating for Christmas! Here are some homemade ornaments that I totally enjoyed crafting up! Justin helped too!!!

Super awesome date night!

Justin decided that I needed to take a break from all of the homecoming details. He made reservations at Donnovan's Steak and Chop House! So AWESOME!

This was my dinner! Amazing filet, perfectly medium rare! Baby carrots, snap peas, garlic mashed potatos and two jumbo shrimp scampi!

This was our fabulous dessert! Best Creme Brulee I've ever had! The chocloate mouse cake was to die for - - and I'm not a chocolate fan!

Needless to say, this was a most excellent date! Thanks love!!!!

First Attempt at Blogging!

Well hello there!! Welcome to our blog! I have never tried this whole blogging thing, but my friends Michelle and Erik are so good at keeping their blog up and I always love reading about the fun new things going on in their lives! So here we go! Well, kind of - - still trying to figure things out on here. So this is the first post, now let's see if it works! :)
